The Filtercube 4N/4H is a large stationary cartridge filter system designed for large welding applications,extracting fumes from non-alloyed metals, precious metals, galvanized materials, and aluminum. Multiple workstations may be connected to a Filtercube 4N/4H and the 4H can be configured to exhaust whole workrooms. These units can be setup to circulate air inside of a closed workspace.
Evacuated fumes and particles are drawn into the filter unit an aluminum pre-filter separates particles and distributes them evenly over the four high surface area filter cartridges. Effluent enters the system perpendicular to the hanging filter cartridges (separation efficiency > 99%), which causes large, heavyparticles to fall below into a bin where they are held until they can be disposed of properly. A specially sized polyethylene bag can be fitted into the collection bin for simple waste removal.
The TEKA POWER-SPRAY-System pulses compressed air over the filter cartridges to remove particles adhered to the filterfabric. The filter cartridges are coated with a protective film that enhances this cleaning process by preventing particles from attaching tenaciously to the filter medium. The POWER-SPRAY-System does not require excessive pressure and displacement bodies inside the filter cartridges optimize the distribution of the compressed air blasts. This makes the cleaning gentle and causes little wear on the cartridges, resulting in increased filter life and lower replacement costs over time.
The Filtercube 4N/4H comes standard with the following equipment: - Automatic cleaning using the POWER-SPRAY-System - PULSE-CONTROL microprocessor filter control - (4) Ø 12 in. x 24 in. (or 48 in.) filter cartridges with 105 sqft to 170 sqft of surface area - Particle collection bin with sealing mechanism - Integrated container holds compressed air - Maintenance doors permit access to all control areas - Inspection window made of laminated glass enables visual filter monitoring
